After multiple weeks of hibernation I decided that I needed to start drawing something again, anything, and also decided that I should get back into animation aswell (originally planned on making a post about this a month ago and never acted on it). Friend gives me an idea of an action I could try animating and I start working on it, a very simple animation but the main difficulty came in the fact it largely revolved around hands and hands moving in perspective. Despite this I continue working on it as a warmup as it's good hand drawing exercise regardless, I finish the key frames before realizing I had made a large mistake with the composition and that it would bite me in the ass as I polished it more, decided fuck it and kept going.

Within 2-3 hours I finished the keys, the breakdowns, and I started doing 1 inbetween to figure out what spacing would work better when of course, the program crashes and takes all of my fucking work with it. I had made sure to manually save every once and awhile on account of not trusting autosave, and I was correct in this as autosave did not do a damn thing, aswell as the manual saves not doing a damn thing. I don't fucking know how but somehow the only manual save that I could access post-crash was a very early one where I had only barely finished the 4 key frames. On one hand it is what it is, and the practice was well worth it regardless of creating a finished presentable product, on the other hand I am going to kill myself
